From September 21 to 24, 2026, the 12th China International Exhibition on Wire & Cable Industry (Wire China 2026) was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The four-day exhibition concluded successfully on the afternoon of September 24.
As one of the major professional exhibitions serving the global wire and cable industry, Wire China 2026 brought together companies and industry professionals from across the value chain, including wire and cable manufacturing, materials, production equipment, and testing. The event provided a platform for showcasing new technologies, innovative products, and the latest industry developments.
At this major industry event, Angreen New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (Angreen) presented a diverse portfolio of high-performance wire and cable materials. The company engaged in in-depth discussions with customers, business partners, and industry professionals from around the world, exchanging ideas on cable material innovation and industry development. Over the four-day exhibition, Angreen showcased its material technologies and solutions while strengthening direct communication with customers and fostering industry collaboration.
At Wire China 2026, Angreen focused on two key growth areas: new energy and AI-related applications. The company presented a range of high-performance materials and solutions designed for different wire and cable applications.
For the renewable energy sector, Angreen showcased TPU sheath compounds for wind power cables, radiation-crosslinked low-smoke, halogen-free, highly flame-retardant polyolefin compounds, and radiation-crosslinked and silane-crosslinked polyolefin compounds for photovoltaic cables.
The product portfolio also included crosslinked polyolefin (XLPO) compounds for AC and DC energy storage cables, medium- and high-voltage EPDM rubber insulation, sheath, and semiconductive shielding compounds for wind power cables rated at 36 kV and 66 kV, as well as CPE sheath compounds and EPR insulation compounds for rubber cables.
These material solutions address the performance requirements of renewable energy cables, including weather resistance, thermal stability, electrical performance, and flame retardancy.
For new energy vehicles, rail transit, and thin-wall cable applications, Angreen presented radiation-crosslinked and silane-crosslinked polyolefin compounds for T3/T4 Automotive cables, polypropylene (PP) compounds for thin-wall automotive wires, and silicone rubber compounds for new energy vehicle cables rated at T5 (180°C) and T6 (200°C).
The company also exhibited TPU/TPE elastomer compounds for EV charging cables, together with thin-wall and standard-wall-thickness crosslinked polyolefin compounds for rail transit cables designed for applications under the relevant requirements of EN 50264.
These materials are designed to support the diverse requirements of vehicle electrical systems and rail transit cables, helping improve cable weight efficiency, thermal performance, and operational safety while supporting the reliable operation of modern transportation networks.
As artificial intelligence and data center infrastructure continue to expand, high-speed data transmission networks are creating growing demand for reliable fiber optic cables and advanced cable materials.
In response to these developments, Angreen showcased highly flame-retardant compounds for MPO fiber optic cables, with material solutions designed to address relevant OFNR, OFNP, and IEC 60332 flame-retardancy requirements.
Other featured products included TPU/TPE materials for flexible robotic cables, easy-tear, flame-retardant TPU sheath compounds for microduct fiber optic cables, and flame-retardant, low-smoke, halogen-free polyolefin sheath compounds for data communication cables targeting applicable requirements under the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) framework, including EN 50575.
Through its diversified material portfolio, Angreen continues to expand the application of high-performance compounds in data communications, fiber optic cables, and flexible cable systems.
In addition to the above application areas, Angreen presented a range of materials for UL-style electronic wire and other specialized applications.
Featured products included radiation-crosslinked, halogen-free polyolefin compounds designed for relevant UL 758 and UL 1581 requirements, including 125°C temperature ratings and VW-1 flame performance where applicable.
Angreen also showcased radiation-crosslinked polyolefin compounds for electronic wires with temperature ratings of 125°C and 150°C, formulated without decabromodiphenyl ethane (DBDPE) to address relevant European regulatory requirements.
Other exhibits included modified polyphenylene ether (MPPE) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) insulation compounds for flat ribbon cables, further expanding the company's material options for electronic wire and cable applications.
From low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) compounds and crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) and crosslinked polyolefin (XLPO) materials to thermoplastic materials such as TPU and TPE, as well as silicone rubber and specialty rubber compounds, Angreen continues to develop its comprehensive wire and cable material portfolio.
With extensive experience in high-performance wire and cable materials, Angreen focuses on evolving market demands and application requirements. Through ongoing material research and development, formulation optimization, and application validation, the company provides tailored material solutions for different cable constructions, processing conditions, and operating environments.
From fundamental material development to advanced applications, and from performance optimization to practical processing and application validation, Angreen continues to integrate material technology with the real-world requirements of wire and cable manufacturing, supporting the industry's ongoing technological advancement.
Throughout the exhibition, Angreen's booth welcomed customers and industry professionals from Southeast Asia, Brazil, various European countries, North America, Russia, and other regions.
Discussions covered material performance, application requirements, processing technologies, product certification, and the development of new materials. Through these exchanges, Angreen's technical and sales teams gained further insight into the practical requirements of global customers, providing valuable input for future product development, technical collaboration, and market expansion.
