Angreen thermoplastic polyurethane sheet are usually used as test samples and are divided into dumbbell sheet and square sheet.
It is usually used to test the performance of thermoplastic polyurethane in the fields of footwear, medical, wire and cable, and automotive industries.
Generally speaking, the test items of TPU sheet mainly include the following aspects:
1. Test TPU Mechanical Properties
Test material hardness (Shore A or Shore D), tensile strength, elongation at break, and tear strength.
Thermoplastic Polyurethane Sheet (The Missing Part is a Dumbbell-Shaped Sheet)
2. Test TPU Material Thermal Properties
Heat deformation temperature (HDT), melting point, cold resistance and other properties
3. Aging Test
Test UV aging, thermal oxygen aging, wet heat aging and other properties
4. Chemical Property Verification
Chemical resistance: Test its stability in oil, water, acid and alkali environments.
Solvent compatibility: TPU is often used in coating or glue scenarios, and compatibility with solvents needs to be tested.
5. Verify Processing Performance
Thermoforming Experiment: Verify whether it is suitable for vacuum forming, calendering or hot pressing molds.
Laser Cutting/Engraving Test: Test the performance of the material under different processing methods.
Welding/Bonding Experiments: such as hot air welding, HF welding, adhesive compatibility, etc.
6. Verify Product Application And Development
Product Proofing: Develop samples in sheet form first, then use them for injection molding, extrusion or other large-scale manufacturing.
Surface Treatment Experiments: coating, printing, grinding, etc., to verify the feasibility of surface treatment processes.
7. Quality Inspection
Used to make horizontal performance comparisons with other suppliers' materials.
It can be used as a standard sample for incoming sampling and quality control inspection.
